Investment Management Certificate (IMC) exams
Dear readers,
I am very happy to announce that I have passed my IMC exams in Jan 2007! This is one of my new year resolutions and glad that I have achieved it in the first month of the year.
Hello David, congs on passing the IMC.Its my resolution for 2008 and im just beginning to see how to get out. Im an engineer but with sights on branching into the investment world. Do you have any tips on how best to prepare for the exams (i notice that you are a doctor)
Personally, I think IMC exams wasn't that hard. In fact, I only did my reading for the last 3 weeks before the exams. Having said that, I have been actively learning and improving my investing skill and knowledge since 2000, so I understand a lot of stuffs in the IMC already.
The best way to learn it is to read and then do the questions. There a quite a lot of calculations that come out, but they are all very simple calculation.
Hi David, thanks for getting back. Its encouraging to know someone with a different background yet interested in Investment studies. If its fine, could i have an email address and ask you more specific stuff. regards Chris
